Here comes winter

It is finally starting to get cold in Nagasaki so we know winter is on its way. Throughout October, we had unseasonably warm and wet weather.

 

The temperatures in Nagasaki on Wednesday dropped below 15 degrees Celsius.

 

In Rob’s hometown of Chicago, temperatures were at a high of 6.6 degrees Celsius and a low of -1.6 degrees Celsius on Wednesday.

 

In Alyssa’s hometown in Hawaii, the temperatures were between 21 and 28.8 degrees Celsius. Winter in Hawaii is not cold at all.

 

Now, it is time to put away our short-sleeved t-shirts and shorts and put on sweaters, jackets, long pants and scarves. It is important to bundle up and keep warm, especially since many people get sick during this time of year.

 

Stay warm! It helps to drink coffee, cocoa or tea and eat hot soup.

 

長崎でも、やっと寒くなってきて冬が来ているのがわかりますね～。１０月はずっと、季節はずれの暖かさや雨でした。

 

水曜日の長崎の気温は１５℃以下まで下がりました！

 

ロバートの故郷のシカゴでは、水曜日の最高気温が6.6度で最低気温は－１．６度でした！

 

アリッサの故郷、ハワイでは、気温は２１～２８．８度の間でした！ハワイの冬は全然寒くありません。

 

半袖シャツや半ズボンをしまってセーター、ジャケット、長ズボン、スカーフを着る時が来ましたね。特に、この時期はたくさんの人が風邪をひくので、着込んで暖かくすることが大切ですね。
