Happy Thanksgiving!

As many of you know, Thanksgiving is an American holiday that is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November.

みなさんご存知のように、感謝祭は１１月の第四木曜日に祝われるアメリカの祝日です。

 

It is more than just a day off and more than a feast of turkey, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. It is a time when we are reminded to be thankful for everything we have like our family, our house, friends, food, clothes and good health.

この日は、ただの単なる休みや七面鳥、クランベリーソース、パンプキンパイなどのご馳走を食べるだけというわけではありません。家族、家、友達、食べ物、服、健康など私たちがもっているもの全てに感謝することに気付く時です。

 

In Japan, we can do the same on Labor Thanksgiving Day.

日本では、勤労感謝の日に同じようにいろんな事に感謝してみるといいかもしれないですね。

 

Here at Playday, we are thankful for many things – our school building in Nagasaki, our friendly neighbors in Shindaikumachi, all of our staff and teachers, and most of all, our students and their families. We would not be here without all of you!

ここプレイデイでは、私たちは多くの事に感謝しています。私たちの教室、フレンドリーな新大工町のご近所さんたち、スタッフ、先生、生徒のみなさんとその家族の方々。皆さん無しでは私たちはここにいません！
