Winter Clothing Lessons

Even though winter is almost over, we are using the recent cold weather to teach our students about winter clothes.

 

冬が終わろうとしているにもかかわらず、私たちは、最近の寒い天気を話題にして、冬服についての授業をしています。

 

We are teaching our young students the English vocabulary and phrases for putting on and taking off items of clothing such as shoes, pants, shirt, jacket and hat. The Super Simple Learning song, “Put On Your Shoes,” helps the children remember the English as they sing and mimic the actions of putting on clothes.

 

私たちは、低学年の生徒さんたちに脱いだり、着たりする靴や、ズボン、シャツ、ジャケットや帽子などのアイテムの英語の語彙やフレーズを教えています。The Super Simple Learing の歌の“Put On Your Shoes”の歌が子どもたちが洋服を着たりするアクションの物まねをすることで、そのフレーズを覚えるのを手助けしてます。

 

For the older students, we add more vocabulary like boots, scarf and sweatshirt. They practice saying the words and phrases by playing with paper dolls. The students can also describe the clothing by color, size and design (plaid, polka dot, checkered).

 

高学年の生徒さんは、ブーツ、スカーフやトレーナーなど、もっと語彙を加えています。生徒たちは紙人形を使って、単語やフレーズを言う練習をしています。また、色、サイズやデザイン（格子縞、水玉模様、チェック）を使っての洋服の説明もできます。

 

Learning the names of clothes is fun and practical since we wear clothes every day.

 

洋服の名前を学ぶのは楽しく、そして毎日洋服を着るので役に立ちますね。
