Mother’s Day

We would like to dedicate this post to all the mothers and grandmothers for Mother’s Day on Sunday. Happy Mother’s Day!

 

全てのお母さんやお婆ちゃんに日曜日の母の日のためのこのポストを奉げます。母の日おめでとうございます！

 

In English, there are several ways to say mother such as mom, mama, mommy and ma. When we were very young, we called our mothers mommy. As we age, we may call our mothers mom or ma. But all these names mean the same thing.

 

英語では、mom、mama、mommy、やmaなど母親の呼び方がいくつかあります。

 

私たちが子供の時には、母親をmommyと呼んでいました。年齢を重ねていくと、momまたはmaなどと呼んだりします。しかし全てこれらの名前は同じ意味です。

 

At Playday, we see many mothers Monday through Saturday. There are the mothers that play with their children in the mom and tots classes. There are the mothers and grandmothers who bring their children or grandchildren to Playday and pick them up after their classes. There are mothers who bring snacks and drinks for their children. We see firsthand how important mothers are, and it is a treasure to see the love between a mother and her child.

 

プレイデイでは、私たちは月曜日から土曜日までたくさんのお母さんに会います。Mom&totsのクラスで子どもたちと遊ぶお母さんたちや、子どもさんやお孫さんたちをプレイデイに連れてきたり授業の後に迎えに来るお母さんやお婆ちゃんがいます。子供さんのためにお菓子や飲み物を持ってくるお母さんたちがいます。私たちはどれだけお母さんが大事かをじかに感じています。そして母親と子供の愛を見るのは大切なことです。
