Flower Power

At the beginning of June, Playday created its first point system for its elementary school students as a fun way to reward and encourage our students.

 

６月の初めに、プレイデイは小学生にご褒美を与え、後押しをする楽しいやり方として、初めのポイント制を作りました。

 

Each student has his or her own colorful flower that has 20 squares for stickers on it. Their names are written on the green stems and the stickers are placed on the heads of the flower. The kids bring their flowers to class.

 

生徒一人一人が、シールを貼るための２０個の四角がついたカラフルな花を持っています。緑の茎に名前が書かれ、シールが花の所に貼られています。授業にその花を持っていきます。

 

A student receives a sticker once a week for completing their homework. Their homework answers don’t have to be perfect. The important part is that they make an effort to do their homework.

 

生徒たちは宿題を完成させると週に一度シールをもらえます。宿題の答えは完璧じゃなくてもいいのです。一番大事なのは、宿題をするために努力をすることです。

 

When a student fills three flowers with stickers, he will receive a small present.

 

生徒が、シールのたまった花を３つ集めると、ちょっとしたプレゼントがもらえます。

 

We put all the flowers up on the walls in one of our classrooms so everyone can see how many stickers they and their friends have.

 

私たちは、みんなやお友達がいくつシールがあるかを見ることができるように全部の花を、教室の壁にはりつけています。

 

We hope these flower sticker charts will encourage our students to try their best at English and have fun as well.
