Making a snowman is a good way for kids and adults to enjoy the winter season.

 

雪だるまを作るのは、子どもにとっても大人にとっても冬を楽しむいい方法ですよね。

 

American snowmen are made of three snowballs – one for the head and two for the body. Japanese snowmen have two snowballs. Snowmen are usually decorated with a hat, scarf, buttons and a carrot nose. How do you decorate your snowman?

 

アメリカの雪だるまは３つの雪球で作られています。頭に一つ、体に二つです。日本の雪だるまは雪球２つですよね。通常、帽子、スカーフ、ボタン、人参の鼻で飾りつけされています。みなさんはどういうふうに雪だるまを飾り付けますか？

 

Although we don’t get a lot of snow in Nagasaki, we can still have fun snow and snowman lessons in English. We made a snowman with paper, played with foam snowflakes, sang a snowman song and had a snowball fight with paper snowballs.

 

長崎では、雪があまり降りませんが、英語で雪や雪だるまのレッスンで楽しめます。私たちは、紙で雪だるまを作ったり、雪だるまの歌をうたったり、スポンジ状の雪の結晶で遊んだり、紙の雪球を使って雪合戦をしました。
