English Camp

Thank to all the students and parents who came to English Camp! We had a blast and we hope even more students will attend the next camp.

 

イングリッシュキャンプに参加された生徒と保護者のみなさま、ありがとうございました！とても楽しく、次回のキャンプには、もっと多くの生徒さんが参加できるといいなと思います。

We set for Huis Ten Bosch with 41 students on June 8. Here’s a picture of us at Nagasaki Station right before we boarded the train.

 

6月8日に41人の生徒さんとハウステンボス行きを予定しました。電車に乗車する前の長崎駅での写真です。

 

 

At Huis Ten Bosch Station, we were greeted by our friendly American counselors who took us to the camp. We practiced speaking English with them, played games, practiced spelling, sang songs, performed skits, and had a really fun dance party.

 

ハウステンボス駅では、キャンプに連れて行ってくれるフレンドリーなアメリカ人のカウンセラーに迎えられました。彼らと英語を話す練習をしたり、ゲームをしたり、綴りの練習や歌をうたったり、スキットを演じたり、ダンスパーティーではとても楽しみました。

We were so impressed by how hard the kids worked on their skits. They practiced many times so they could memorize their lines, and they made great props and costumes too. We have video of some of the skits, which we will put on the website soon.

 

私たちは、子供たちがスキットの練習を一生懸命頑張っていることに感動しました。セリフを覚えられるよう何回も練習し、小道具やコスチュームなども作りました。もうすぐウェブサイト上に載るスキットのビデオがあります。

Thank to all of the counselors and camp staff who helped make this such a wonderful experience. Thank you for talking with us, playing with us and teaching us some new English words.

 

素晴らしい経験をさせてくれたカウンセラーやキャンプのスタッフのみなさんに感謝します。お話をしたり、遊んだり、新しい英単語を教えてくれてありがとうございました。
