It`s beginning to look like Christmas

Although we are only in the second week of November, everywhere we look we see signs of Christmas.

Lighted Christmas trees fill storefronts, coffee shops sell holiday drinks and sweets, and workers have already begun building the giant Christmas tree at the Nagasaki train station.

As soon as Halloween ended, the jack`o lantern and ghost decorations disappeared and were replaced by Santas and Christmas trees.

In America, however, people traditionally put up their Christmas decorations after Thanksgiving – the last Thursday in November.

Will you put up Christmas trees and Christmas decorations at your house?

11月に入ってまだ２週目ですが、いたる所でクリスマスのデコレーションを見かけるようになりましたね！

 

ライトアップされたクリスマスツリーが店頭に並んでいたり、コーヒーショップでは、ホリデーシーズンの飲み物やスイーツを販売したり、長崎駅では、もう巨大なクリスマスツリーが組み立て始められています!!☆

 

ハロウィンが終わるとすぐに、ジャック・オー・ランタンとお化けのデコレーションは消え、早速サンタとクリスマスツリーに置き換えられます!!

 

しかし、アメリカでは、感謝祭（11月の第４木曜日）の後にクリスマスのデコレーションを飾ります！
